Vijay Kumar

Dr. Vijay Kumar is President, CEO and Co-founder of IMMCO Diagnostics, Inc. Founded in 1971, IMMCO Diagnostics, Inc. of Buffalo, New York is a global leader in the field of autoimmune diagnostics services and medical device manufacturing and distribution. Dr. Kumar is a former Research Associate Professor at UB in the Center for Immunology. He has worked extensively in research and academic positions in the Western New York area and has been granted a patent for an immunological assay for the detection of antibodies in Celiac disease. Dr. Kumar has traveled extensively throughout the United States and worldwide to lecture at symposiums and presentations. He has also been widely published in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and abstracts. Dr. Kumar received his B.Sc. with honors and his M.Sc. with honors from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He received his PhD from the University at Buffalo. Dr. Kumar is a new member of the College of Arts and Sciences Dean's Advisory Council.
