Pat Kennedy (Chairman and CEO - Cellport Systems)
Pat Kennedy and fellow Cellport architects have advocated "universal wireless connectivity" as their mantra since the company founding in 1993. Pat has worked to grow a portfolio of wireless networking technologies and patents focused on driving innovations that yield greater safety, efficiencies and innovative applications in the $5 billion global telematics markets.

Pat is credited with contributing to eleven of Cellport patents and he leads the company's licensing and technology partnering programs. Additionally, he has helped model the spin-off of Cellport’s Obly technology and chairs its board.

Pat has a B.A. in International Economics from the University of Buffalo (UB) and has worked in the wireless and networking fields for the past 30 years. Pat currently chairs the advisory board for the UB Center of Human Capital and he has served on the Dean's Advisory Committee at UB for the past 10 years. In September of 2009, Pat’s book, IdeaJacked: An Entrepreneur’s Story of Innovation and Treacherous Competition in Global Markets, was published and the IdeaJacked website, www.ideajacked.com was also launched.
