Mr. Mark Serwinowski is President and Founder of MetaVu, Inc., a recognized leader in sustainable business development. MetaVu helps companies innovate their products, services and business models leveraging sustainability as a strategy for value creation. Mark has practiced in the environmental space for 20 years and founded MetaVu in 2002. He has held management and equity positions at leading product and service providers in the environmental engineering, construction and risk management sectors. He has successfully developed and launched two business consultancies for environment and sustainability and holds an advisory board position in a Brownfields real estate development firm. MetaVu has helped global leaders such as Berkshire Hathaway Co.’s., Chevron, GE, GM, Georgia Pacific, GlaxoSmithKline, ExxonMobil, Shaw Industries and Xcel Energy realize the economic benefits of managing energy, social and environmental issues from a business perspective. Mr. Serwinowski holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and sits on the Dean’s Advisory Council of the UB School of Arts and Sciences. In addition, he participates in the University of Denver – Institute for Leadership and Organizational Performance and is an Executive Mentor in the Daniels College of Business. In addition to being chief strategy officer at MetaVu, he personally facilitates executive leadership workshops on sustainability strategy and leadership to drive organizational change. He is published on various topics related to business and environmental performance and is Chair of a Money Matters and Shareholder Value Workshop for a leader to leader benchmarking retreat for Global 1000 companies.
