John Walsh

Mr. John N. Walsh III is the Chairman and CEO of Walsh Duffield Companies, Inc. in Buffalo. Mr. Walsh earned his BA from Yale and holds a JD from Harvard Law School.  Mr. Walsh has served in many significant volunteer roles at UB, including 17 years on the University at Buffalo Council.  He has been honored by the School of Management, the Alumni Association, and by being presented the President’s Medal for his service.  He currently serves a Trustee and Vice Chair of the UB Foundation. In addition, Mr. Walsh serves on the boards of Independent Health; HSBC, NA Western Region; and Aspire, the former Cerebral Palsy Association.  He is President of the Western New York Foundation and the Darwin Martin House Restoration Corporation.
