Gordon Gross

Gordon Gross is the Senior Partner of the law firm of Gross, Shuman, Brizdle & Gilfillan, P.C. He attended Oberlin College and received an L.L.B. from UB in 1955. Long active in community affairs, he is currently on the University’s Board of Advisors of the Institute for Jewish Thought and Heritage, the Investment Committee of the University at Buffalo Foundation, the Board of the Park School of Buffalo Foundation, and the Board of Read to Succeed Buffalo. A trustee of the State of NY for seven years ended July 2008, he has served as past president and continues to serve on the boards of the Foundation for Jewish Philanthropies, Jewish Center of Greater Buffalo, and Jewish Federation of Greater Buffalo. Mr. Gross is a past chairman of the Board of the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, Inc. and the Foundation for Deaf Education and has served as an officer and trustee of the Buffalo Philharmonic Society as well as a director of the Roswell Park Cancer Institute Corporation, and a trustee of the Buffalo and Erie County Library Foundation
