Dean's Advisory Council

Drawn from the most distinguished alumni and friends of the College of Arts and Sciences, the Dean's Advisory Council (DAC) consists of accomplished corporate leaders and highly regarded professionals.

Working together, the members of the DAC help the College strengthen its ties with alumni, community, and corporate and governmental leaders. They often provide the crucial link between students and the professional world: creating avenues for interaction with corporate leaders and mentors; and internships and job placement. What's more, all council members are energetically working to encourage alumni to become actively engaged in the life of the College. And they are dedicated to assisting the College in securing the resources needed to accomplish its goal of providing a first-rate education to all of its students.

Mission 
The Dean’s Advisory Council (DAC) is committed to providing intellectual and financial support and guidance to the Dean. In supporting the Dean’s vision and areas of priority, the DAC elevates the presence and success of the College of Arts and Sciences and the University at Buffalo.

Vision
The DAC engages College alumni across the country by hosting events and providing the most interesting and up to date information from UB. Individuals and the collective membership contribute to advancing the College, departments and key initiatives, through sharing of professional expertise and contacts, alumni outreach, fund development, and student enrichment programming.
